A Successful Archive Strategy Powered by INM
With direct ad revenue taking a toll on content publishers, many have gone in search of new ways to monetize content. One model that has proven successful, particularly for specialty publishers, has been the creation of sellable archives. Over the past several years, INM has worked with both Kalmbach Publishing Co., and The Taunton Press to build these dedicated collections for several of their titles. Just last week, Audience Development Magazine did a great article on these projects. Both Taunton and Kalmbach cite these initiatives as very successful and are looking for additional ways to package these archive collections for new devices, like tablets.
