World Usability Day is November 13, 2014. To celebrate World Usability Day 2014, the year of engagement, we took to the streets of Montreal to ask people what keeps them engaged with their devices and loyal to a brand. We decided to share our findings in a visual manner in the form of a fun and quick video.

User Experience is all about engagement. Technology, products and services are usable when they engage people. At work we strive to engage with those around us—whether they’re users, colleagues, or stakeholders. It means getting people on board with an idea, earning trust, and working toward mutual goals. World Usability Day 2014 looks at user engagement, stakeholder engagement and global engagement.

INM recently completed another great project for Kalmbach Publishing, a leading specialty magazine publisher. “The First 20 Years of Bead&Button” is an anniversary collection that features all 118 issues and 14,000+ pages of the magazine, beautifully packaged onto a single DVD-ROM.

Readers can search through the entire collection to find projects, designers, techniques and more. They can then pull up articles or full issues to read, and can even zoom in on images to see fine details of a specific image or project. Readers can even create bookmarks to save favorite articles or group bookmarks into folders for future reference. Customers who’ve purchased this collection so far have called it an “awesome resource” and “just what the collector is looking for”.

The First 20 Years of Bead&Button is available now for just $74.99 through the Kalmbach store at: http://www.kalmbachstore.com/15180.html
