    We’re passionate about user experience and information architecture, which is why we are very proud to announce our support of the Francophone Information Architecture Collective.

    The Collective, born from the collaboration between the l’École de bibliothéconomie et des sciences de l’information (EBSI) in Quebec and the Institut national de l’audiovisuel and the l’École normale supérieur de Lyon in France aims to consolidate, in French, the information architecture discipline. The Collective also offers a summer school on information architecture that will take place at the EBSI (Université de Montréal) from June 10-21, 2013.

    New website for FGMDA

    INM is excited to announce the launch of a new website for Montreal-based architecture firm, Fournier Gersovitz Moss Drolet et Associés Architectes (FGMDA). The new site reflects a more modern online presence and highlights photos of some of their most striking work. The site showcases what makes FGMDA unique, mainly its expertise and its people. It also features a robust project gallery that allows visitors to drill down by expertise, building type, services and region.

    INM, Bertuch, and FGMDA worked together on the site. INM defined the client needs, mapped out the information architecture, built the wireframes and integrated the design into the WordPress back-end. Local graphic design firm Bertuch designed the site’s look and feel, and FGMDA came up with the new content for the site and did most of the migration themselves. The WordPress back–end makes it easy for FGMDA staff to modify and update content regularly.
